WHAT IS STRESS?
Your reaction of negative emotions provoked by something happening that you don’t like or isn’t as expected.
What is Negative Emotion?
The famous psychiatrist David Hawkins has shown through
more than 20 years of research that human life energy will fluctuate with
consciousness. He mapped human consciousness to the range of 1 ~ 1000 as
follows. In his report, it mentions that
currently 78% of humans have an average life energy below 200.
Since we were young, we have been taught to be better
than others, to be outstanding, to have higher grades than others, to have more
talents than others, and to win in sports. Everything is self-centered and
selfish. Then we wanted our next generation to become somebody, so we teach our
next generation as we were taught, then the next generation and so on.
What we are fighting for is the highest score in the negative energy world - pride
and corn. Because of this, we are trapped in the negative energy world, suffering non-stop stress.
When something happens that we don’t like or is not as
expected, there is stress, which is accompanied by negative emotion. For
example, at work, you have the most potential to be promoted, but the boss chooses another colleague. This result was not as good as expected. This became a
stress, and the emotional response may be both angry (score of 150) and jealous (125). If you can't
release your stress for a while, you may develop anxiety (100), remorse, doubt (75) and
even despair (50) about yourself. The situation can get worse and the life energy
is getting lower and lower, which affects the physical and mental health. More
serious are self-blame (30), shame (20), and self-abandonment, such as choosing to end your life.
This is why people with depression can commit suicide. It is very hard for us to live in a world of negative energy, worry and sorrow.
Positive Thinking
- Courage to affirm 200: accept the facts.
- Trust and Release 250: You get what you put in, and believe that there are causes and effects (Christians believe that everything is the grace of God), but let go of egoism and let go of negative thinking.
- Hopeful and optimism 310: Be optimistic and enterprising. Face problems and find ways to solve them.
- Tolerance and forgive 350: Do not blame others. Forgive others.
- Reason & Understand 400: Understand the situation and sufferings of others, and be willing to help others
- Love and respect 500: care for others and practice respect and gratitude.
- Serenity and joy 540: Calm of mind, no more negative thinking but only joy
- Peace and Bliss 600: Stay peaceful, no more suffering but bliss
- Enlightenment 700+: the state of the saint
